NAIVISMIN TALVI - NÄYTTELY / NAÏVE ART WINTER - EXHIBITION

Naivismin talvi -näyttely avattiin Iittalassa eilen. Yksi osa näyttelystä on nykynaivistit, johon itsekin kuulun. Puukoulun yksi huone ja aulashop ovat täynnä näiden kesän näyttelyistä tuttujen nykynaivistien töitä. Kolme työtänä on näyttelyseinällä ja lisää aulassa sekä myös kalentereita, pyyhkeitä, joulukortteja ja pikatatuointeja. Hienoa oli, että sain avajaisissa kertoa taulun uusille omistajille tekniikasta työssä "Kissojen yö".  Juhlapäivä!

Naïve Art Winter exhibiton opened yesterday. One part of the exhibition is contemporary Naivists, a group that I myself belong to. One of rooms in the wooden school building and also the Lobby Shop are full of the works of these artists familiar for the summer exhibitions. Three of my works are on the exhibition wall, and more of linocuts are at the shop and also calendars, tea towels, Christmas cards and instant tattoos. It was really nice to tell about the techniques of the work "The Night of the Cats" for the new owners of this picture. Celebration day!
