ROP - NÄYTTELY / EXHIBITION

ROP -taiteilijaryhmä on kahden kimppa: Tuomo Rosenlund ja Pekko Orava. Galleria Himmelblaussa on iso näyttely heidän talojaan. Taloja on seinillä, pylväiden päässä, ympyröiden sisällä ja lattialla ryhminä, suuria taloja ja pieniä taloja. Tosi kauniita olivat myös piirrokset taloista. Talot olivat suurimmaksi osaksi puuta, niissä oli paljon valaistuja ikkunoita, mutta asukkaita ei näkynyt missään. Siniharmana kerrostalon takaosa oli veistetty puurimoista niin, että rimoista syntyi ihmisen kasvot. Ehkä nämä talot ovatkin elollisia olioita.

The artist group ROP is a bundle of two: Tuomo Rosenlund and Pekko Orava. There is a lot of their houses at the Gallery Himmelblau. Houses are on the walls, on top of balusters, in the middle of circles and as groups on the floor, big houses and little houses. Also the drawings of houses were really beautiful. The houses were mainly wooden, there were light in the windows but no inhabitants. The backside of a blue & gray apartment house was sculpted with wooden bars so that the bars formed a human face. Perhaps these houses really are living entities.
