UUDET KEITTIÖPYYHKEET / NEW TEA TOWELS

Teetin lisää keittiöpyyhkeitä linopiirroksistani joulunajan näyttelyjä varten. Mukana on kaksi viime kesän mallia: Ylös Tahmelan portaita ja Pitsiverhon takana. Kaksi pyyhettä on uusia malleja. Pispala klo 8.00 on linopiirros Pispalan taloja ja järvi-sarjasta ja siinä ei ole kissaa. Kokelin myös värillistä mallia (Sinä yönä korennot saapuivat), jossa on linopiirroksen lisäksi pastelliväriä. Värit toistuivat mielestäni hyvin, ja kankaan tekstuuri sopii väriin hyvin.Nämä ovat mainioita joululahjoja, syntymäpäiväksi tai tupaantuliaisiin. Pyhkeet ovat aika isoja: 67 x 45 cm, 50 % pellavaa ja 50 % puuvillaa. Pyyhkeet on tehty Suomessa ja ne teki Scorpio. Laitoin jo pyyhkeitä Etsy-kauppaani ja niitä tulee myyntiin Naivistit Iittalassa -talvinäyttelyyn ja Interin joulukauppaan Runebergin mökkiin Haiharaan.

I ordered more tea towels of my linocuts for Christmas exhibitions. There are now two earlier models from last summer: Up Tahmela Steps and Behind the Lace Curtain. Two of the towels are new models. Pispala at 8.00 O´clock is one of the series of linocuts of Pispala Houses and Lake, and there is no cat. I also tried a coloured version (The Night the Dragonflies Came) where there is pastel colour in addition to lino. The colours came out fine to my mind, and the colour looks nice on the texture of the canvas. These are nice Christmas presents, for a birthday or a housewarming. The tea towels are rather big: 67 x 45 cm, 50 linen and 50 % cotton. Towels are made in Finland by Scorpio. I already put towels at my Etsy shop and they will be on sale at Naïve Artists in Iittala winter exhibition and Interi´s Christmas shop in Runeberg´s Cottage, Haihara.
