Maalauksessa on kaunis maisema, edessä kukkaruukkuja ja valkoisia kukkia. Paljaat oksat rajaavat kauempana olevat vihreät kukkulat ja luovat upean perspektiivin. Mutta harmaa kissa näyttää olevan kuin irrallinen lisäys kuvaan. Onko kissa maalattu ensin vai päinvastoin? Kissan katse kohdistuu johonkin oikealla olevaan. Maalauksen tekniikka on tekijällä, irlantilaisella Lesley Fotherbyllä (s. 1946) hallussa. Maalauksen nimi on Harmaa kissa ja kukkaruukut (Grey Cat and Flowerpots).

This is a beautiful landscape painting, flower pots and white flowers on the foreground. The bare branches are cropping the farther green hills are creating a glorious perspective. But the grey cat seems to be somehow unattached like an addition to the picture. Has the cat been painted first or vise versa? The look of the cat is focused on something on the right outside of the picture.The technique is possession of the painter, Irish Lesley Fotherby (b. 1946). The name of the painting is (Grey Cat and Flowerpots.
