Tein lyhyen iMovien Ylös! Alas! -linopiirroksen teosta. Kaksi kissaa kulkee rappusissa, toinen ylös ja toinen alas rappuja. Reunuksessa kiemurtelee palmikoitua nauhaa ja välissä on tammenterhoja. Terhot muistuttavat minua siitä, miten vuosia sitten toin kissalleni maahan pudonneita tammenterhoja, joita kissa heitteli sitten ympäri asuntoa. Linopiirros on aika iso, 30 x 30 cm. Saadakseni erivärisen reunuksen leikkasin linon keskiosan irti ennen värien levitystä.

I made a short iMovie about making of my linocut Up!Down!. Two cats are walking on the stairs, the other one down and the other one up the stairs. Braided ribbons are circling on the border and there are acorn in the between. Acorns are reminding me how I brought home acorns, fallen from the trees, to my cat. She then tossed acorns around the apartment. This linocut is quite big, 30 x 30 cm. To achieve brown border and black middle part I cut the miffle off before spreading color.
