NAIVISTIT IITTALASSA - PÄÄTTÄJÄISET 2025

 

Naivistit Iittalassa -kesänäyttelyn päättäjäisiä vietettiin 31.8.2025 Kylätalolla. Hieno kesä takana ja uusia suunnitelmia edessä. Olin ihan innoissani lähdössä mökiltä luudalla lentoon kohti Iittalaa. Veikko Halmetoja hoiti kuraattorin hommia viisi vuotta, ja jatkaa vielä talvinäyttelyiden kuratointua. Veikolle luovutettiin linopiirrokseni vanhasta puukoulusta eli näyttelypaikasta. Uusi kuraattori Emmi Kallio, taiteilija Tampereelta, kertoi jatkavansa työtä Veikon mallilla, hienoa. Tuhannet kiitokset kaikille näyttelyssä poikenneille ja töitänikin ostaneille, puukoulun henkilökunnalle sekä hauskalle seuralle päättäjäisissä.

The closing ceremony of the Naive Artists in Iittala summer exhibition was held on August 31, 2025 at the Village Hall. A great summer behind us and new plans ahead. I was really excited to leave the cottage and fly on a broom towards Iittala. Veikko Halmetoja took care of the curator's work for five years, and will continue to curate the winter exhibitions. Veikko was given my lino drawing of the old wooden school, i.e. the exhibition location. The new curator Emmi Kallio, an artist from Tampere, said that she would continue working on Veikko's model, which was great. A thousand thanks to everyone who stopped by the exhibition and bought my work, to the wooden school staff and to the fun company at the closing ceremony.
