KELTAINEN KISSA JA SADEPILVI:3 / YELLOW CAT AND DARK CLOUD:3

Lisäsin linopiirrokseeni Pyhäjärvestä Pispalan harjulta nähtynä pastelliväreillä tumman taivaanrannan. Sade on lähestymässä. Taivaalle vedostin linopiiirroksen isosta kanahaukasta. Ennen haukan vedostusta väritin siipiä keltaisella ja ruskealla musteella. Alareunassa oleva erillinen linopiirros kissasta on samalla tavalla väritetty keltaisella musteella ennen vedostusta.

I added with pastel colour a dark horizon to my linocut of the lake Pyhäjärvi seen from the Pispala ridge. The rain is approaching. I printed a large goshawk on the sky with a linocut. Before printing I coloured the wings of the hawk with yellow and brown ink. The separate linocut of a cat on the bottom has been coloured with ink in the same way before printing.
