RUSKEAT PERHOSET / BROWN BUTTERFLIES

 

Viisi linopiirrosperhosta on vedostettu ruskealle monotypiapohjalle. Perhosten siivet väritin käsin värikynillä tai pastelliliiduilla ruskeaan taustaan  sopiviksi. Kuvat ovat pieniä, vain 7 x 7 cm. Näitä pieniä perhoja syntyi kaikkiaan 23 kappaletta. Aion kehystää niitä 15 x 15 cm kehykseen tai kehyspahviin. Ainakin ensi kesänä näitä on myynnissä esim. Interin kesäpuodissa.

Five linocut butterflies are printed on a brown monotype base. I hand-colored the wings of the butterflies with colored pencils or pastels to match the brown background. The pictures are small, only 7 x 7 cm. A total of 23 of these small butterflies were created. I plan to frame them in a 15 x 15 cm frame or passepartout. At least next summer these will be on sale, for example, in Interi's summer shop.
