Iittalassa aukeaa 25.11.2023 Naivismin talvi -näyttely vanhalla puukoululla. Odotin ihan innostuneena yhtä osanäyttelyä: Enni Idin (1904-1992), suomalaisen vanhemman polven naivistin, kissamaalauksia. Oma erikoisnäyttely tulee olemaan myös eräältä ukrainalaiselta naivistilta. Muun tilan täyttävät kesänäyttelyistä tutut nykynaivistit. Sain ripustusvaiheesta kuvan, jossa kolme omaa lino/pastelliani näkyy jo seinällä. Ja aulapuoti tulee olemaan täynnä joululahjoiksikin sopivia töitä, jotka saa heti mukaan sekä kortteja, keittiöpyyhkeitä, kalentereita keramiikkaa ja koruja.

In Iittala, the Winter of Naivism exhibition will open on 25 November 2023 at the old wooden school building. I'm excitedly waiting for one part of the exhibition: the cat paintings of Enni Id (1904-1992), a Finnish naïve artist of the older generation. There will also be a special exhibition by a Ukrainian naïve artist. The rest of the space is filled by contemporary naïve artists familiar from summer exhibitions. I got a picture of the hanging stage, where three of my own lino/pastels are already visible on the wall. And the lobby shop will be full of works suitable for Christmas gifts, which you can take with you right away, as well as cards, kitchen towels, calendars, ceramics and jewelry.
