NAIVISMIA WAROUXIN LINNASSA / NAÏVE ART AT CASTLE OF WAROUX

Suomalaista naivismia on runsaasti esillä syksyn naivisminäyttelyssä Warouxin linnassa Belgiassa 6.9.-21.10.2018. Kukin osallistuja on mukana kahdella työllä. Omat linopiirrokseni lähetin Belgiaan postissa, ja jännitin pääsevätkö ne perille ehjinä grafiikassa kun on lasit. Onnekseni lasit eivät rikkoutuneet matkalla. Näyttelyssä ovat mukana aika iso linopiirros Pispalan rinne ja pienempi Pitsiverhon takana. Näyttelyjulisteen kaunis kuva on Kikka Nyrénin maalaus.

There are many Finnish Naïve artists exhibited at this autumn´s Naïve art exhibition at the Castle of Waroux in Belgium from 6th of September till 21st of October, 2018. Each one of us has two works on the wall. I sent my own linocuts by post to Belgium, and it was really exciting to follow if they arrived unbroken because there are the glasses on the graphics. Luckily the glasses did not break on the way. I´m participating to this exhibition with a quite large linocut Pispala Ridge and a smaller one Behind Lace Curtain. The beautiful picture on the poster is by Kikka Nyrén.
