PIRKANMAAN 6. TRIENNAALI / EMIL

Tampere on täynnä pieniä näyttelyitä, jotka kuuluvat Pirkanmaan 6. triennaalin taiteeseen teemana "Ole kuin kotonasi". Vanhan kirjastotalon galleria Emilissä esillä oli valokuvia. Tuntui kuin kuvaajat olisivat napanneet kuvia omiin kotialbumeihinsa. Kuvissa vilisi kuvaajien tuttuja, omia keittiöitä, esineitä ja pihoja. Mutta Sirpa Hirvikosken valokuvissa oli enemmän jytyä. Hirvikoski itse oli mallina parissa kuvassa, joiden sisältöä hän kuvasi tarkasti: "Vanha Nainen" (kotini portailla edesmenneen äitini vaatteissa) ja "Työkokeilu talikolla ja lapiolla" (kotimme vajasta löytyi työkaluja entisten asukkaiden jäljiltä, kirsikkapuu on meidän istuttama). Kaunis oli myös "Matka" (lähimetsän tyyni lampi, hidas elämä?).

Tampere is full of small exhibitions, which are part of The Pirkanmaa 6th Triennial and its theme "Make Yourself at Home". In Galleria Emil in the Old Library there are photographs. It felt like the photographers had been taking photos for their home albums. The pictures teemed with

friends of the photographers, their own kitchens, objects and gardens. But in Sirpa Hirvikoski's photographs there was more power. Hirvikoski herself was as a model for a couple of pictures, and she described accurately the contents: "Old Woman" (on the steps of my home dressed in my late mother's clothes) and "Work Trial with a Fork and Shovel" ( I found in the shed tools left by the former inhabitants, the cherry tree is planted  by us). "Voyage" (pond in the nearby forest, slow life?) was also beautiful.
