Yleensä huomaan tässä vaiheessa, että pienille linopiirroksille eli stampeille on jätetty liian isot aukot. Kun ne stampit on vedostettu paikoilleen, edessä on vielä aika iso homma viimeistellä vedos, niin, ettei turhia valkoisia alueita aukkojen jäljiltä näy. Pohjassa näkyy jo muutama vesikasvikin. Oikealla oleva parvi kaikkein pienimpiä kaloja on vedostettu ilman aukkoja suoraan pastelliveden päälle punaisella leimasinvärillä.

Usually at this stage I notice that the small linocuts, or stamps, have been left with too large holes. Once the stamps have been printed, there is still a lot of work to do to finish the print so that there are no unnecessary white areas left by the holes. You can already see a few aquatic plants at the bottom. The flock of the smallest fish on the right has been printed without gaps directly on the pastel water with red stamp ink.
