Äiti kurkottaa puhuakseen lattialla olevalle kissalle. Joko että: "Ei saa norkoilla herkkupaloja" tai "Kyllä sinullekin löytyy herkkua". Nuori mies kurkkii ikkunan takaa sisälle. What a summery light and atmosphere! Two women, perhaps a mother and daughter, are enjoying tea in a yellow room. The fabric of the bench is yellow and the window opens onto a yellow landscape bathed in the sun. The mother reaches out to speak to the cat on the floor. Either: "You can't beg for treats" or "There's a treat for you too". A young man peeks in from behind the window. Isn't he being offered tea? The picture was painted by the Englishman James Durden (1878-1964) and is called Summer in Cumberland. The card is only part of the work.
