Kirjavan perhosen siivet on käsin väritetty, violettia, ruskehtavaa, kultaa ja hopeaa. Perhonen on monotypia-pohjalle vedostettu linopiirros. Taustastakin tuli aika violetti. Kuvan koko edelleen vain 9 x 9 cm.

The wings of the speckled butterfly are hand-colored, purple, brownish, gold and silver. The butterfly is a linocut printed on a monotype base. The background also turned out quite purple. The size of the picture is still only 9 x 9 cm.
