KUPARIKUU PASTELLITAIVAALLA / COPPER MOON IN THE PASTEL SKY

 

Pastellitaivas alkaa saada väriä, jopa hiukan violettia ja tähtiä yläreunaan. Käytän pehmeää Pan pastellia ja alku näyttää aina toivottomalta. Haluan, että taivaan väri on aika syvä ja tasainen. Sormet tuntuvat olevan parhaat pastellivärin levitysvälineet. Sapluunojen avulla olen jättänyt paikat vedostaa kolme linopiirrosta perhosista.

The pastel sky is starting to get some colour, even a bit of violet and stars on the upper side. I´m using soft Pan pastel, and the beginning looks always hopeless. I want, that the colour of sky is quite deep and even. The best to tools for spreading the colour seem to be my fingers. Using stencils I have left places for printing three linocuts of butterflies.
