LINTUPARVI / FLOCK OF BIRDS

Vedostin siniselle pastellitaivaalle parven linopiirros-lintuja. Osa linnuista on harmaita ja osa mustia, yritin näin saada parveen syvyyttä. Minusta se onnistui. Viimeiseksi vedostin kuvaan pyöreän linopiirroksen. Kuvittelin sen olevan aurinko. Mutta ehkä se onkin kuu, juuri sillä hetkellä kun taivaanrannassa on vielä auringonkajoa, mutta kuu on noussut. Kuva on aika iso 50 x 30 cm.

I printed a flock of linocut birds on the pastel sky. Some of the birds are gray and some are black. I tried to achieve some depth. I think it worked. At last i printed a round linocut on the picture. I imagined it to be a sun. But perhaps it is after all a moon, just at the moment when there is still a bit of sun reflected on the horizon, but the moon has risen. The picture is quitre big: 50 x 30 cm.
