KISSA KIRJAHYLLYSSÄ / CAT IN BOOKCASE

Tämä pieni linopiirros kissasta kirjahyllyssä näytti tukkoiselta mustavalkoisena. Siinä oli ihan liikaa kuvioita ja muotoja, kirjat eivät erottuneet kunnolla. Väritin käsin kuvan kahdella ei ruskealla sävyllä. Nyt mielestäni kissa erottuu kunnolla kirjojen keskeltä. Linopiirros on pieni, vain 10 x 15 cm.

This small linocut of a cat in a bookcase looked quite blocked as a black and white print. There were far too much patterns and shapes, the books didn't stand out properly. I hand coloured the picture with two brown hues. Now I think the cat is standing out in the bookcase. The linocut is small, only 10 x 15 cm.
