Inge Löök (s. 1951) on pernajalainen kuvittaja ja hänen mummoaiheiset korttinsa ja kuvansa ovat hyvin suosittuja. Aiheet ovat hiukan vanhahtavia ja romanttisia. Tässä kortissa kissa katsoo kaihoisasti ovea. Sitä ei ehkä ole päästetty sisään, koska asujilla on jotain tärkeää tekeillä. Portailla on kukkakimppu - morsiuskimppu? Kaunis vihreä väritys varjoineen ja joka puolelle kiemurtelevat villiviinin oksat tuovat kuvaan liikettä.

Olen vuosien aikana kerännyt aikamoisen määrän kissakortteja. Museoiden kaupat ovat oikeita aarreaittoja kissakorttien kerääjälle. Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja.

Inge Löök (b. 1951) is an illustrator from Pernaja, and her granny-themed cards are very popular. The subjects are a bit old fashioned and romantic. In this card a cat is looking longingly at the door. Maybe they did not let the cat in, because the people had something important to do. There is a bouquet on the steps - bridal bouquet? The beautiful green colours, the shadows and the vine climbing all over bring a lot of movement to the picture.

I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Museum shops are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
