Englantilaisen Martin Lemanin versio kissasta, joka kurkistaa laatikosta, pussista, korista tai saappaasta kuten tässä kortissa. Aihe on hyvin yleinen kissakuvissa. Kortti on vuodelta 1979 ja sen värit ovat ajalleen tyypilliset, räikeät ja kirkkaat. Kissa ja saappaat ovat punaiset, mutta kuvan keskipisteenä ovat kissan kirkkaansiniset silmät.

Olen vuosien aikana kerännyt aikamoisen määrän kissakortteja. Museoiden kaupat ovat oikeita aarreaittoja kissakorttien kerääjälle. Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja.

English Martin Leman´s version  of a cat peeking from a box, bag, basket or a boot like in this card. This subject is very popular in cat pictures. The card is bought in 1979 and it´s colours are typical to that era, flashy and bright. The cat and the boots are red, but the focal point of the image are the bright blue eyes of the cat.

I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Museum shops are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
