Monoprinttien teko talvella on hauskaa, saa sotkea väreillä kun ulkona on pimeää ja kylmää. Tein ensin monoprinttejä taustoiksi, joiden päälle vedostin linopiirroksia - nyt ensin pieniä sudenkorentoja. Tein sapluunoja, joilla suojasin paikat linopiirroksille, eikä minua yhtään haittaa, että joissakin kuvissa tuo sapluunan paikka näkyy valkoisina reunoina. Näitä pieniä 9 x 9 cm kokoisia sudenkorentoja on nyt parikymmentä, tässä neljä esimerkkiä. Homma jatkuu...

It´s really fun to make monoprints in winter, you can mess with colours when it´s dark and cold outside. First I made monoprints for backgrounds, and then I printed on top of them linocuts - now at first small dragonflies. I made stencils for covering the places for dragonflies, and it is not bothering me at alla that in some pictures that place of the stencil can be seen as white borders. Tere are now about twenty of these small 9 x 9 cm dragonflies, four examples here. The job continues...
