Suomessa on alkukesällä aina massoittain voikukkia teiden ja ojien vieressä. Mutta tänä vuonna voikukkia on ollut vielä aiempaa enemmän, kokonaisia peltoja.
Tämä linoleikkaus voikukkapellosta on tehty sapluunan avulla ensin värittämällä keltainen osuus akryylivärillä. Musta on sitten vedostettu keltaisen päälle. Tässä olisi ideaa sarjalle: heinäpelto, viljapelto, perunapelto, järven selkä, veden alla....
DANDELION FIELD
In Finland there is always in the early summer masses of dandelions by the roads and ditches. But this year there has been still more dandelions, even on the fields.
This linocut was made with a stencil by colouring first the yellow part with acrylic paint. The black colour was then printed on the yellow. I find here an idea for a whole series: hayfield, corn field, potato field, open lake, under the water...
