Tein linoleikkauksina nämä muutamat muotokuvat aika nopeasti, sillä ne ovat pieniä, noin 10 x 10 cm.
Silmien tekeminen on vaikeinta, yksi pieni erehdys ja silmä on poissa. Siksi ehkä mielestäni onnistunein on valokuvan perusteella tehty kuva kirjaa lukevasta miehestäni Timosta. Hän pitää kuvaa Facebookin profiilikuvanaan. Kuva muistuttaa hiukan kirjanomistajamerkkiä eli Ex Libris-kuvaa, jos sellaisia vielä käytettäisiin.
Alemmat kaksi ovat omakuvia, ehkä hiukan oman näköisiä tai sitten ei.Toinen niistä on nyt profiilikuvana mm. tässä blogissa
Näitä oli hauska tehdä, jatkossa näitä voisi tehdä lisääkin.
I made these linocuts fast because they are quite small, approx. 10 x 10 cm.
The most difficult part was carving the eyes. One small mistake and the eye was gone. That´s why I think the best of these linocuts is the picture of my husband Timo reading. The picture was done after a photograph and it´s now as his profile picture in Facebook. The picture reminds me of book owner´s mark Ex Libris, if anyone still uses them.
The lower two pictures are self-portraits, there might be some resemblence or not. One on them is now my profile picture in this blog.
It was really nice to carve these portraits, I might do some more in the future.
