Tein viisi uutta sekatekniikatyötä, joissa on neljä kissaa puussa kussakin. Monoprinttien teko taustoiksi on tosi kivaa, sotkuista ja inspiroivaa. Painelin värejä sienellä, sotkin siveltimellä ja sormilla. Sitten vedostin neljän A4-kokoisen linopiirroksen kissoista värien päälle. Se on aina yllätys, mikä on lopputulos. Nämä ovatkin aika samantapaisia, vaikka pohjissa oli eroja, tummempia ja vaaleampia. Yritin kuitenkin jättää valleampia kohtia kissojen kohdalle, etteivät hukkuisi värien joukkoon. Nämä ovat aika isoja, 40 x 60 cm.

I made five new mixed media works with four cats in a tree in each one of them. Making monoprints as backgrounds is really fun, messy and inspiring. I pressed the colors with a sponge, mixed them with a brush and my fingers. Then I printed four A4 linocuts of cats onto the colors. It's always a surprise what the end result is. These are quite similar, although there were differences in the bases, darker and lighter. However, I tried to leave lighter spots for the cats, so they wouldn't get lost in the colors. These are quite large, 40 x 60 cm.
