LEHTI POHJOISNAVALLA / LEAF ON THE NORTH POLE

 

Vedostin linopiirroksia krassinlehdille, ja yhdessä lehdessä olikin pieni pyöreä reikä. Joku oli sen varmaan siihen syönyt. Sitten löysin karttakirjasta sivun, jossa oli pohjoinen pallonpuolisko. Kiinnitin lehden suoraan pohjoisnavan päälle. Tämä pohjoisnavalla leijuva linokissa saa minut hymyilemään.

I printed linocuts on cress leaves, and one leaf had a small round hole. Someone must have eaten it in there. Then I found a map book and a page with a map of the northern hemisphere. I attached the leaf straight on the North Pole. This linocat floating over the North Pole makes me smile.
