Susan Herbert (1945-2014) on tehnyt joukon maalauksia, joissa kissat esiintyvät alkuperäisten mallien hahmoina. Susan Herbert (1945-2014)has done a bunch of paintings where cats are presented instead of the original models. This one is Claude Monet`s Woman with a Parasol - Madame Monet and Her Son (1875). The sky is gorgeous and so is the grass in the foreground perfect with Monet´s colours and brush marks. I like the eyes of cats, there is something melancholy there, perhaps longing for the ideal era of the Impressionism.
