WAROUXIN LINNAAN / TO THE CASTLE OF WAROUX

Naivistinen yhteisnäyttely Warouxin linnassa Belgiassa lähestyy, siispä vein työni kehystykseen ja sieltä sitten postiin, jotta ehtivät Corinne Delhaylle, kuraattorille ennen syyskuun 11. päivää. Olen tosi iloinen siitä, että Corinne hyväksyi näyttelyyn kolmannenkin työni kuumailmapallosta Warouxin linnan yllä. Kolmannen työn ehtona oli, että aiheena pitää olla linnan tienoilla pidettävät markkinat. Näin kuvia markkinoista, ja siellähän lennätettiin kansaa kuumailmapalloissa. Siitä aihe tähän 50 x 30 cm linopiirroksia (alaosa, kuumailmapallo ja linnut) ja pastellitaivasta yhdistävään työhön. Ilmapallo on väritetty käsin.

Naïve Art group exhibition at the Castle of Waroux in Belgium is getting nearer, so I took my works to be framed and then to the post so that they will reach Corinne Delhaye, the curator before September, 11th. I´m really happy that Corinne accepted to the exhibition even my third work of a hot air balloon over the Castle of Waroux. The condition for the third work was, that the subject should be the funfair held around the castle. I saw pictures of the fair, and there were people flying in hot air balloons. So that was the subject for my 50 x 30 cm sized picture, a combination of linocuts (the bottom part, hot air balloon and birds) and pastel sky. The balloon is hand coloured.
