Kissakortti: 128 / Cat Card:128

Martin Lemanin (s. 1934) kissakortissa on Kapteeni (Captain). Kissan ammattiin tai arvonimeen viittaa maalaus purjeveneestä seinällä. Harmaavalkoinen kissa istuu pienellä matolla, ja sen jalkojen juuressa on minimaalisen pieni pallo - mikä mahtaa olla sen merkitys? Kapteenin turkin valkoinen kuvio on hauska.

Olen vuosien aikana kerännyt aikamoisen määrän kissakortteja. Museoiden kaupat ovat oikeita aarreaittoja kissakorttien kerääjälle. Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja.

Martin Leman's (b. 1934) cat card is called Captain. Cat´s profession or title is referred to the painting of a sailboat on the wall. Grey and white cat is sitting on a very small mat, and by his feet there is a tiny ball - what ever is its meaning? The pattern in Captain´s fur is fun.

I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Museum shops are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
