MOOTTORIPYÖRÄILEVÄ KISSA / CAT MOTORCYCLING

Tein tämän linoleikkauksen moottoripyöräilevästä kissasta "tilauksesta" hyvän ystäväni miehen, Karin syntymäpäivälahjaksi. Tietenkin kuvan pohjana on valokuva. Pyörä yrittää jäljitellä oikeaa Suzuki-moottoripyörää, mutta kissa on mielikuvitusta. Moottoripyörän kumirenkaita oli erityisesti kiva tehdä.

I made this linocut of a motorcycling cat "to order" as a birthday present for my good friend´s husband Kari. Of course, the model for the motorcycle is from a photograph. The cycle is trying to emulate a real Suzuki motorcycle, but the cat is from my imagination. The rubber wheels of the motorcycle were very nice to carve.
