Englantilaisen David Tindlen (s. 1932) temperamaalaus "Dormire" huokuu hiljaisuutta ja unta. Värit vat unenomaisia, hentoja ja pehmeitä. Sinertävän tyynyn laskokset ihan houkuttelevat kokeilemaan, olisiko materiaali samettia. Kissa on kätkenyt kuononsa etutassun alle. Älä häiritse! Korvat silti kuuntelevat, mitä ympärillä tapahtuu.

This tempera painting "Dormire" by English  David Tindle (b. 1932) exudes silence and sleep. The colours are dreamlike, gentle and soft. The folds of the bluish pillow are just tempting you to try if the material is velvet. The cat has hidden her muzzle under the fold of her front paw. Do not disturb! The ears are still listening what´s going n around.

David Tindlen (s. 1932) temperamaalaus puulle on tosi herkkä. Värit ovat pehmeät, tyyny näyttää silkkiseltä ja kaikki kietoutuu siniseen pastelliin hämärään. Kissa on piilottanut kuononsa tassun taakse. Kissa ei selvästikään halua, että sitä edes silitettäisiin. Anna minun ottaa nämä nokoset!

The cat has hidden her nose under the paw. The cat does clearly not want, that someone would even stroke her. Let me take this nap!
