Danish Wilhelm Hammershöi (1864-1916) was the artist of the second of Amos Anderson´s art museums exhibitions. The atmosphere was almost devout. The paintings made you whisper. Mostly in the paintings there was only one empty room, where a ray of sunshine might touch the furniture. Well, according some works Hammershöi could not paint a face. But a few landscapes were also fine, a green hill almost surrealistic and from his landscapes you could reason that for example Pekka Halonen surely had seen Hammershöi´s paintings.
