Valko-ruskearaitainen kissa istuu topatulla jakkaralla peilipöydän edessä. Kissa näkee omat kasvonsa peilistä, on tyytyväisen näköinen ja kysyy peililtä: "Kerro, kerro kuvastin, ken on maassa kaunehin?". Ja kissa tuntuu ilmeestä päätellen tietävän jo vastauksen. Se olen minä! Viktoriaanisen söpön taulun on maalannut englantilainen Frank Paton (1855-1909).
