Ritariperhonen on linopiirros ja tausta monotypia. Kahdessa taustassa käytin muoviveistä ja tein hiukan ruohonkorsia ja kukkia muistuttavia kuvioita. Taustasta tuli sen verran eläväinen, että en värittänyt perhosta. Kolmannessa tausta on tasaisempi, joten väritin perhosen siivet käsin ja lisäsin myös muutaman pienen linolinnun. Kuvan koko on 15 x 15 cm.

The swallowtail butterfly is a linocut and the background is a monotype. In the two backgrounds I used a plastic knife and made some patterns resembling blades of grass and flowers. The background became so vivid that I didn't color the butterfly. In the third, the background is smoother, so I colored the butterfly's wings by hand and also added a few small lino birds. The size of the picture is 15 x 15 cm.
