Saksalaisen Kathia Bergerin (s. 1938) maalauksissa on useimmiten kissoja. Tätä kuvaa hallitsee kuitenkin paksu musta ryppyinen koira, jolla on punaiset silmät ja tuima ilme. Mutta onhan siellä kaksi pientä mustavalkoista kissaakin keltaisine silmineen, toinen on jopa uskaltautunut koiran kanssa samaan koriin. Taustan sininen seinä on kaunis ja puulattian syyt samoin. Kuvan nimi on "Freunde / Ystävykset".

The paintings of the German Kathia Berger (b. 1938) mostly feature cats. However, this image is dominated by a thick black wrinkled dog with red eyes and a sullen expression. But there are also two small black and white cats with yellow eyes, one has even ventured into the same basket with the dog. The blue wall in the background is beautiful and so are the grain of the wooden floor. The name of the picture is "Freunde / Friends".
