TANSSI KANSSANI TAIVAAN TUULIIN / DANCE WITH ME TO THE WINDS OF HEAVEN

 

Villit linnut (linopiirroksia) ilakoivat pastellitaivaalla pinkkien sydämen mallisten pilvien lomassa. Alaosassa on linopiirros Pispalan taloista, joiden edessä ehkä pulteriaidalla seisoo kaksi punaista kissaa hännät solmussa. Itse pidän tuosta hyvin kapeasta punaisesta viivasta taivaanrannassa. Tämä aika iso työ (70 x 40 cm) sai nimensä Juicen kappaleesta Taivaan tuuliin : "Tanssi kanssani taivaan tuuliin".

Wild birds (linocuts) are frolicking in the pastel sky among the pink heart-shaped clouds. At the bottom there is a linocut of Pispala houses with two red cats in front perhaps standing on a stone wall with their tails tangled. I actually like that very narrow red line in the horizon. This is quite large work (70 x 40 cm) and it got its name from Juice Leskinen´s song To the Winds of Heaven:" Dance With Me To the Winds of Heaven".
