Kaksi kissaa kävelee ruohikolla hännät toisiinsa kietoutuneena - ystävykset selvästi. Tässä 15 x 15 cm kokoisessa työssä testailin jigsaw- eli palapelitekniikkaa ja erillisiä linopalasia oli aika monta: reunus, kissat, ruohikko ja taivas. Pystyin värittämään kaikki palaset erillään, liittämään ne yhteen ja vedostamaan samalla kertaa koko kuvan. Ruohikko on vihreä, muut osat mustia. Sitten kokeilin myös toisen kissan värittämistä keltaiseksi, ei oikein minusta toiminut. Seuraavaksi jätän taivaspalan pois ja kokeilen jotain muuta tilalle.

Two cats are walking on the grass with their tails entwined - clearly they are friends. I tested jigsaw technique with this 15 x 15 sized works, and there there were quite many separate lino pieces: the border, cats, grass and sky. I managed to colour all the pieces separately, combine them together and print the whole picture at the same time. The grass is green, other parts are black. Then I tried to colour the other car yellow, it didn´t quite work in my mind. Next I will leave the sky part away and try something else instead.
