Hollantilainen Gielijn Escher (s. 1945) on graafikko, mutta hän on myös kerännyt suuren määrän julisteita joista on pidetty näyttelyitä. Uskoakseni tämän kortin juliste on Escherin itsensä tekemä vuonna 1961. Julisteen kieli on ranska, mutta Mustan kissan kabaree -esitys on voinut olla Hollannissa. Juliste on tosi pelkistetty. Kissa on tietenkin musta, taustalla loistaa keltainen pyöreä kuu ja kissan silmät ovat vihreät. Tehokas juliste!

Dutch Gielijn Escher (b. 1945) is a graphic artist, but he has also collected a vast collection of posters, which have been exhibited in exhibitions. I believe that the poster of this postcard was done by Escher himself in 1961. The language of the poster is French, but The Black Cat cabaret might have been performed in Holland. The poster is really reduced. The cat is black of course, a yellow round moon is gleaming at the background, and the cat has green eyes. Really effective poster!
