Kissakortti: 359 / Cat Card: 359

Mitä tässä kortissa oikein tapahtuu? Kuva on yksityiskohta tuntemattoman englantilaisen taiteilijan maalauksesta "Asetelma kissalla ja juustolla " (Still Life with Cat and Mouse"). Kissa tuijottaa (mutta mitä?) saviruukun ja omituisen leivän takaa. Leivästä on  leikattu sivuja pois ja sisältö näyttää hiukan aivoilta. Isossa juustossa on reikä, onkohan hiiren kaivertama? Ja pöydällä on veitsi, voisiko sillä tehdä muutakin kuin leikata leipää? Alkuperäisestä kuvasta on rajattu pois kaali, kinkku ja sitruuna.

What is really happening in this card? The picture is a detail of a painting called "Still Life with Cat and Mouse" by an unknown English artist. The cat is staring (but at what?)behind a ceramic pot and a strange looking bread. The sides of the bread have been cut away, and the contents are looking a bit like brain. There a hole in  the large cheese, might it be carved by a mouse. And there is a knife on the table, could you do with it something else than cutting the bread. A cabbage, piece of ham and lemon have been excluded from the original picture.
