Mychael Barrettin maalaus Van Gogh´s Cat (Van Goghin kissa) on luonnollisesti muunnelma van Goghin maalauksesta omasta tuolistaan. Barrettin tuolilla ei ole tupakkaa ja piippua, mutta sipulilaatikko on nurkassa. Tiililattia on samanlainen kuten myös vihertävät seinä ja ovi. Kissa on kuvassa ihan jotain uutta. Se on hiukan uneliaan näköinen, silmät kiinni ja ehkä vähän yrmeäkin. Kissa on selvästi raapinut van Goghin tuolin riekaleiksi, melkein pilalle. Tuhma kissa!

Mychael Barrett´s painting Van Gogh´s Chair is naturally a variation of van Gogh´s painting of his own chair. On Barrett´s chair there is no tobacco and pipe, but a box of onions are in the corner. The tile floor is the same as are the greenish wall and door. The cat is something quite different in the picture. He is looking a bit  drowsy, eyes closed, and perhaps even a bit grumpy. The cat has clearly scraped van Gog´s chair into scraps, almost ruined the chair. Naughty cat!
