KISSANPÄIVÄT OHI / CAT DAYS ARE OVER

Tänään purettiin Kissanpäivät, linoleikkausteni näyttelyni Koskenmäen koulun galleriatilasta Nokialla. Palaute, jota olen saanut on ollut todella positiivista ja kannustavaa. Iloinen yllätys oli sekin, että näyttelystä myytiin kuusi työtä. Haikeana katsellaan opettaja Juha Isometsän kanssa tyhjiä, valkoisena hohtavia seiniä. En olisi koskaan odottanut aloitellessani linoleikkausten tekoa, että töiden esille laitto ja näyttelyt olisivat näin iso ja tärkeä osa taideharrastusta.

Today was the time to take down my Cat Days exhibition of linocuts in the gallery space of Koskenmäki School in Nokia. The feedback that I got has been really positive and supportive. It was also a nice surprise, that six linocuts were sold from the exhibition. Here we are wistfully looking at the white, empty walls with the teacher Juha Isometsä. I would have never expected when I started to make linocuts, that putting up and exhibiting my works would be such a big part of the art hobby.
