**************
The tiny booklet of English Sasa Marinkov's (b. 1949) linocuts was a find from Bankside Galleryin London. Marinkov's style is really reduced, and she can finely use the black surface. Her linocuts are landscapes and city scenes, and there seems to be nothing too much or too little. In some pictures she has probably scratched the lino to achieve grey tones. According to Marinkov's home pages she has made mainly large wood engravings, and they are the same style as her linocuts.
