Englantilainen Martin Leman (s. 1934) on yksi parhaista kissakuvien tekijöistä. Comic and Curious Cats -kirja ilmestyi vuonna 1979 (ilmestynyt suomeksikin nimellä Kissankuvia). Tästä kirjasta on Camden Graphics painanut myös tämän kissakortin "In the Garden"  vuonna 1979. Lemanin kissoilla on paksut posket ja suuret surumieliset silmät eikä näitä kissoja ole pidetty nälässä. Kotisivuillaan Leman jopa tarjoutuu tekemään tilauksesta kissamuotokuvia. 

Olen vuosien aikana kerännyt aikamoisen määrän kissakortteja. Museoiden kaupat ovat oikeita aarreaittoja kissakorttien kerääjälle. Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja.

English Martin Leman (b. 1934) is one of the best cat painters. The Book Comic and Curious Cats was published in 1979. Gamden Graphics printed this cat card "In the Garden" from that book also in 1979. Leman´s cats have thick cheeks and big melancholy eyes, these cats have not starved. In his home page Leman even offers to paint a portrait of your pet. 

I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Museum shops are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
