SHERLOCK

 

Tämän kissan nimi on Sherlock - salapoliisi Sherlock Holmesin mukaan. Kissalla on ruudullinen hattu kuten esikuvallaan ja valtava suurennuslasi. Sherlockin oma silmä näkyy katsojalle lasissa valtavana. Sherlock on linopiirros ja vedostettu punaisena. Tausta on monotypia, jossa tavoite oli tehdä avoin ovi, josta valo tulee sisään aika pimeään huoneeseen. Etenkin tummemmassa versiossa katto on liian vaalea, näyttää kuin kattoa ei olisi  ollenkaan.  Kuvan koko on 15 x 15 cm.

This cat's name is Sherlock - after detective Sherlock Holmes. The cat has a checkered hat like its predecessor and a huge magnifying glass. Sherlock's own eye is visible to the viewer as huge in the glass. Sherlock is a linocut and printed in red. The background is a monotypel, where the goal was to make an open door, wilth ight entering a rather dark room. Especially in the darker version, the roof is too light, it looks like there is no roof at all. The size of the picture is 15 x 15 cm.
