IITTALAN ILOA: 6 / JOYS OF IITTALA: 6

Linopiirrokseeni Iittalan vanhasta puukoulusta alkoi tulla taustaa. Rakennusta kiertää muutama kiireinen ihminen ja pari koiraa. Penkille voi välillä istuutua tai ottaa polkupyörän alleen. Nurkkiin ilmestyi pari satuolentoa, Muumi ja Haisuli. Pätkä risuaitaakin löytyy kuvasta. Kaikkea "roskaa" talon ympäristöstä en aio kaivertaa kokonaan pois, sillä itse pidän siitä että kaiverruksen jälki näkyy lopullisessa vedoksessakin.

Some background is emerging in my linocut of an old school building in Iittala. A couple of busy people and dogs are circling around the building. You can sit yourself on a bench or get on a bicycle. Two story book characters from Moomin books appeared on the corners. Also a piece of stick fencing can be found in the picture. I will not carve away all the "trash" in the picture, because I like that there is some markings of the carving even in the final print.
