KISSA LAITURILLA: osa 1. / CAT ON A DOCK: Part One

Aloin kaivertaa uutta aika isoa useasta palasta koostuvaa linoleikkausta. Kuvan alaosa on nyt valmis, ja siinä kissa istuu laiturilla. Takana järven pintaa kiitää soutaja ja rannan ruohot heiluvat tuulessa. Taivalle tulee suunnitelman mukaan erikokoisia sudenkorentoja. Tämä on Suomen kesää.

I started to carve a new linocut. It will be quite large, compiled of several pieces. The bottom part of the picture is now ready, and there is a cat sitting on a dock. Behind the cat someone is rowing along the lake and the grasses on the beach are swinging in the wind. According to the plan there will be different sized dragonflies in the sky. This is Finnish summer.
