RUNEBERGIN MÖKKI / RUNEBERG`S COTTAGE

Tämä on mielenkiintoinen paikka suunnitella omaa taidenäyttelyä heinäkuuksi 2015: Runebergin mökki Haiharan taidekeskuksessa Tampereella. Haiharan alueella on useita vanhoja rakennuksia, joissa on taidenäyttelytiloja: päärakennus/kartano, talli ja mökki. Runebergin mökki on alueelle 50 vuotta sitten siirretty vanha hirsinen talo, jossa suomen kansallisrunoilija J.L. Runeberg asui vaimonsa kanssa kesän 1834. Tampereen taideteollinen yhdistys Interi järjestää Runebergin mökissä kesällä myyntinäyttelyn (lasia, keramiikkaa, puuta, kangasta ja paperia eri muodoissaan) sekä sivuhuoneessa vaihtuvia taidenäyttelyjä. Näyttelytila on hirsiseinäinen huone, jossa on kolme isoa ikkunaa ja suuri takka. Kesäkuun ajan mökissä on Ina Jaakkolan akvarellinäyttely Kesäpäiväunia - taidokkasti tehtyjä, suuria. Oma näyttelyni Kissakesä: linoleikkauksia ja pastellitöitä on Runebergin mökissä 3.7.-2.8.2015 välisen ajan.

This is an interesting place to plan my own art exhibition for July 2015: Runeberg´s Cottage in Haihara Art Centre, Tampere. There are several old buildings in Haihara area where art exhibitions are organized: the main building/manor house, stable, and cottage. Runeberg´s Cottage is an old log cottage and it has been moved to Haihara 50 years ago. Finland´s national poet J.L. Runeberg stayed in this cottage with his wife for the summer 1834. The Art And Design Society of Tampere Interi is organizing a summer shop (glass, ceramics, wood, fabric, and paper in all forms) in the cottage and changing art exhibitions in the side room. This room has log walls, four windows, and a large fireplace. For the June 2015 there is Ina Jaakkola´s exhibition Summer Daydreams of water colours - professionally made and large. My exhibition Cat Summer: Linocuts and Pastels is in Runeberg´s Cottage between 3rd of July and 2nd of August 2015.
