VILLE ANDERSSON - NÄYTTELY / EXHIBITION

 Ville Andersson (s. 1986) on Vuoden nuori taiteilija 2015 ja hänen taiteensa täyttää Tampereen taidemuseon kaksi kerrosta. Näyttely on aika mustavalkoinen, väriä on vain osassa valokuvateoksia. Vaikutelma on jotenkin kevyt ja ohut. Ehkä tämä johtuu siitä, että Anderssonin keskeisin aihe ja ilmaisu on viiva. Pidin eniten hänen tarkoista tussipiirroksistaan puista ja lehdistä. Monissa töissä kankaat hulmuavat, laskokset muodostavat viivojen viidakkoja. Osa töistä on muunnelmia vanhoista muotokuvista, tarkkaan viivoilla ja pisteillä hahmoteltuina. Kuvissa ihmiset eivät katso eteenpäin, päät on käännetty alas tai kuvattu takaa. Näyttelystä jää hiukan ulkopuolinen olo.

Ville Andersson (b. 1986) is The Young Artist of the Year 2015 and his art fills the two floors of Tampere Art Museum. The exhibition is rather black and white, there is colours only in some art photographs. The impression is somehow light and shallow. Perhaps this is so because Andersson´s main subject and style is a line. I liked especially

the sharp ink drawings of trees and leaves. Fabric is flowing in many works, and the folds form jungles of lines. Some of the works are variations of old portraits, sharply drawn with lines and dots. In the pictures people are not facing ahead, heads are turned down or pictured from behind. The exhibition leaves you feeling a bit like an outsider.
