Kissakorttien kokoelmasta: 72 / From Cat Card Collection: 72

Tämä saaliinhimoinen kissa on osa Nebamumin kalliohaudan seinämaalauksista Luxorissa. Kissa on isäntänsä Nebamumin kanssa saalistamassa Niilin suistossa. Kissa on taitava. Sillä on käpälissään kaksi lintua ja suussa yhden linnun siipi. Silti kissa on kuvattu ihan kotikissan oloisena, keltaraitaisena ja pehmeänä. Hautamaalaukset on tehty noin 1350 eKr.

Olen vuosien aikana kerännyt aikamoisen määrän kissakortteja. Museoiden kaupat ovat oikeita aarreaittoja kissakorttien kerääjälle. Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja.

This rapacious cat is part of Nebamum´s tomb wall-paintings  in Luxor. The cat is hunting with his master Nebamum in the marches of river Nile. The cat is very skillful. He has two birds in his claws and the wing of a bird is in his mouth. Still the cat has been described quite like a domestic cat, yellow-striped and soft. The tomb wall-paintings have been done in c. 1350 BC.

I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Museum shops are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
