The annual exhibition of naïve art is in Art Pispala Art House in Tampere during January. In this small gallery there are from the floor to the ceiling maybe hundreds of naïve or primitive paintings and graphics of tens of artists. Five of my linocuts are also in this exhibition: cats of course. These are in a good company with HansToikkanen´s cat.
Mia Bergqvist: Mustikkavuoret/ Blueberry mountains |
Anita Backlund |
Martti Innanen: Kalmukkikaunotar |
Mika Kari: Ensitapaaminen / First meeting |
Annukka Grönlund: Paratiisi/ Paradise |
I plan to visit this exhibition several times. There are so many pictures that it is impossible to notice all the details in one time. It is really fine to see this cross-section to Finnish naïve art in my own home town.
Kiintoisalta vaikuttaa! Pitääpä poiketa!!!
