SOVJET DESIGN -NÄYTTELY / EXHIBITION

Tampereen eksoottisimmassa museossa Lenin-museossa on pieni näyttely Rosa Liksomin, kirjailijan ja kuvataiteilijan, keräämiä lasten leluja ja muita esineitä Neuvostoliiton ajalta. Näyttelyn nimi on komeasti Sovjet Design, mutta esineistä monikaan ei ole juuri designia nähnyt. Lelujen materiaalina on puu tai uusi muovin tapainen kammottava aines. Lelueläinten hahmoissa on aika paljon Disneyn jäämiä. Radiot, herätyskellot ja muut kodin tavarat herttävät vanhemmissa ihmisissä aika nostalgisia tunteita. Tällaisia tavaroita tuotiin Suomeenkin koteja kaunistamaan.

In the most exotic museum in Tampere i.e. in Lenin Museum is a small exhibition of toys and other objects from Soviet time. The objects are collected by Rosa Liksom, author and visual artist. This exhibition has been named Sovjet Design, but there is not very much of design in these objects. The material of the toys is wood or a new ghastly material like plastic or rubber. In the shapes of toy animals is a lot of traces of Disney. The radios, alarm clocks, and other household items evoke quite nostalgic feelings in older people. These are objects that were brought in the Seventies to beautify also Finnish homes.
