 Anu Pellisen onnittelukortissa kissa ajaa tai lentää kovalla kiireellä toivottamaan sinulle onnea. Taivas on heleän sininen ja vihertävässä maassa kukkivat hennot kukat. Kissalle tämä ajelu näyttää olevan ihan arkipäiväistä huvia, hymy huulilla ja lasi juomaa oikeassa kädessä. Vaalean auton pyörät tuskin koskevat maata. In Anu Pellinen's greeting card, a cat is driving or flying in a hurry to wish you happiness. The sky is bright blue and delicate flowers are blooming in the greenish ground. To the cat, this ride seems like an ordinary pastime, with a smile on his lips and a glass of drink in his right hand. The wheels of the light-colored car barely touch the ground. The car resembles a whale more than a sports car. Anu Pellinen's cards can also be purchased at the Runeberg Cottage summer shop.

Mustavalkoinen kissa farkkuhameessaan pitää edessään suurta punaista sydäntä. Lattialla on monella kielellä kirjoitettu sana "ystäväni". Kissa tuntuu kysyvän: "Pidätkö sinä minusta yhtä paljon kuin minä sinusta?" Värit kortissa ovat sydämellisen ja lämpimän punaiset. Piirroksen on  tehnyt Anu Pellinen. Hänen kissakuviaan olen nähnyt kortteina, tyynynpäällisinä ja t-paitoina Runebergin mökissä Interi ry:n kesä- ja joulukaupassa.

A black and white cat in a denim skirt holds a big red heart in front of it. The word "my friend" is written on the floor in many languages. The cat seems to be asking: "Do you love me as much as I love you?" The colors on the card are heartfelt and warm red. The drawing was made by Anu Pellinen. I have seen her cat pictures on cards, pillowcases and t-shirts at the Runeberg cottage in the Interi ry summer and Christmas shop.

Anu Pellisen naivistisessa maalauksessa "Iltakahvilla"  iso kissa istuu hangella edessään kuppi kahvia ja pulla. Naamalla on mairea hymy, niinkuin nyt kissat pitäisivät erityisesti kahvista. Taustalla nähdään monenlaisia naivistisessa taiteessa esiintyviä aiheita: vanhoja taloja (nämä muistuttavat jotain Keski-Euroopan vanhaa kaupunkia), täysikuu, enkeli ja tähtitaivas. Vihreä/kultainen kehyskin on maalattu mukaan kuvaan.

In this naïve art painting " Evening Coffee" by Anu Pellinen a large black and white cat sits on the snow with a cup of coffee and a bun in front of her. There is a sugared smile on her face, like cats especially would like coffee. In the background you can see many subjects familiar in naïve art; old houses (these remind some old Central European town), full moon, angel and sky full of stars. Even the green and golden frame has been painted in the picture.

Kangasalalaisen Anu Pellisen kissakortissa on elämänohje: " Äiti opetti olemaan kohtelias ja leipomaan hyvää pullaa". Kissa seisoo rantakivellä ja taustalla suomalaiset kesämökit heijastuvat peilityyneen järvenpintaan. Pihlajanoksat kaartuvat hauskanmallisen kuvan yläreunassa. Kissalla on yllään esiliina, toisella kämmenellä sydän ja toisella kahvikuppi. Nähtävästi pullaa on tulossa.

There is a life guide on Anu Pellinen´s (from Kangasala) cat card: "Mother taught to be polite and bake a good bun". The cat is sitting on a beech stone, and in the background typical Finnish summer cottages are reflected in the mirror pad on the lake surface. Some rowan branches are curving on the upper part of a fun shaped picture. The cat is wearing an apron, a heart on the palm and a cup of coffee on the other. Apparently buns are coming along.

Anu Pellisen kissakortti on hänen 153. korttinsa. Tämä kortti on Interin 2015 kesäkaupan julisteessakin. Kissa ottaa torkut punaisessa nojatuolissa, kahvi höyryää sivupöydällä ja mottona on: "Hän muisti, että asioilla on taipumus järjestyä, ja otti torkut".

Olen vuosien aikana kerännyt aikamoisen määrän kissakortteja. Museoiden kaupat ovat oikeita aarreaittoja kissakorttien kerääjälle. Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja.

Anu Pellinen´s cat card is her 153th card. This card is illustrated also in Interi´s 2015 summer shop poster. The cat is taking a nap on a red arm hair, coffee is steaming on a side table and there is a motto: "She remembered, that things have a tendency to be arranged, so she took a nap".

Anu Pellinen´s card is called Pieleen meni (It Went Wrong). The cat is stating depressed with his paws in his pockets: "I will not clean up". There are soft colours in the card, and a funny pattern on the border.

Kangasalalainen Anu Pellinen on tehnyt ison määrän postikortteja, ja usein niissä on kissoja. Tämä kortti on numero 2. Siinä kaksi kissaa, keltainen ja musta, ovat nukkumassa tai päiväunilla. Värit ovat herkulliset, keltainen seinä ja punainen peitto. Pellisen kortteja myydään hänen Gepetto-verkkokaupassaan. Itse ostin nipun hänen korttejaan Interin kesäpuodista Runebergin mökistä Tampereen Haiharan taidekeskuksessa.

Anu Pellinen from Kangasala has made a lot of cards, and often there are cats in them. This card is number two. There are two cats, one yellow and one black, sleeping or taking a nap. The colours are delicious, a yellow wall and red blanket. Pellinen´s cards are on sale in Gepetto internet shop. I bought a stack of her cards in Interi´s summer shop in Runeberg´s cottage in Haihara, Tampere.
